Mike Tourigny
Chief Executive Officer

Mike has over 12 years of experience in the development and distribution of technology and triple play products and services for hospitality, enterprise, and consumer markets. Mike's experience with triple play services in the consumer and B2B sectors through his work with RBOC's, CLEC's and GSM operators plays a key role in the evolution of Sigpro's product strategy. Mike joined the Sigpro team in early 2007 after three years with Guest-Tek as VP Marketing. Prior to that Mike held positions with GSM operator Oskar Mobil in the Czech Republic and Canadian telecommunications companies TELUS and Group Telecom. Driving and managing growth has been a part of Mike's career at every step, having shaped processes and built corporate culture in many high growth environments. Mike holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Calgary.

Andy Carter
Director, Product Development

With over 25 years of experience in product and technology development, Andy Carter is responsible for Sigpro's product development processes, including product lifecycle and engineering procedures that assure timely delivery of quality products and services. Andy Carter joined Sigpro in 2000 after a series of successes at small and large companies in Silicon Valley. At Hewlett Packard, he worked on data terminals and communication devices that formed the basis for early personal computers. At Apple Computer, he made original contributions to user interface device technology, and was one of the original inventors of FireWire. Andy has worked in many roles from design engineer to project manager, engineering department manager, and OEM procurement engineering. One of his passions is to "do it right the first time" by designing errors out of the development process. Andy has both BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.

Al Mataban
Director, Product Management

Al joined Sigpro in 2005 and brings over 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry, including 7 years in the hospitality market. His prior roles spans direct and channel sales, systems engineering and operations from large organizations like the U.S. Air Force, AT&T, Pacific Bell, Hitachi Telecom, and Paradyne, to start-ups like Elastic Networks, Zhone Technologies, and Centex Telemanagement. He has worked as both a manager and a direct contributor. Currently, he is the product manager of Sigpro's development program for IP telephones. Al earned a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.

Bob Carlson
Director, Communications Systems

Bob Carlson joined Sigpro in 2000 and brings 25 years of distributed applications, architectures, and networks design expertise to Sigpro's focus on the development of new solutions where telephony, media and the Internet converge. Previously, Bob was a principal at Ernst & Young, a principal of DSSI, where he served as Vice President of Software Development, and the leader of the Hewlett-Packard team that first implemented TCP/IP on HP's business line of computers. Bob earned a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin and a Bachelors in Mathematics from Stanford University.
