 Under
contract to a digital set-top box manufacturer, Sigpro analyzed,
evaluated, designed, built and tested emerging home networking
solutions that used the set-top box as an access point to
broadband connectivity and video distribution. Sigpro design
recommendations have been incorporated into our customer's
product roadmap.
Customer

and recommend appropriate home networking options for a
home subnet to connect multiple set-top boxes.

two concurrent standard definition media streams with guaranteed
QoS, plus multiple non-realtime data streams.

realistic PHY & MAC combination to meet customer requirements.
